As a passionate advocate in the non-profit world for 8 years, Marjesca Brown learned how to build productive relationships built on gratitude and trust. In her role as Director of Communications and Outreach, she honed an ability to communicate directly and effectively, bringing together the support of thousands of constituents through social media, blogging and outreach and fundraising events. She will always be proud of her first fundraising event in which her creative and strategic planning helped to raise over $30,000 for the cause!
Marjesca is a calm and focused listener, and a fierce yet fair advocate who employs a genuine concern for those around her and brings an encouraging attitude and positive experience to both sides in any property transaction. Having an early exposure to real estate through her parents’ business and commercial investments, her personal passion for real estate developed during her years managing her family’s commercial properties, where she excelled at coordinating capital improvement projects and modernizing the company systems with up-to-date technologies.
A Texas native, Marjesca has called Gainesville, Florida, her “woodsy” home now for over 10 years and is a proud UF graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. Continually challenging herself, Marjesca has trekked self-supported to Mt. Everest Base Camp, dived 100 ft. shipwrecks, and run (and won!) 50-mile and 100-mile ultramarathons. When relaxing, she can be found running on the local trails, riding her horse, or drinking tea and reading real estate books and blogs on the couch with her dog, Teddy.
“I try to live by a code of gratitude and positivity,” Marjesca says, “when being thankful is your focal point, quality of life and relationships naturally flourish around you. I want to bring that equanimity and joy to all of my customers.”
