There is nothing more important to Michelle than her family and the feeling of being "home". Originally from Ohio, she moved to Florida as a young girl, and then went on to study at the University of Central Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. After graduating, Michelle chose to enter the field of estate planning and probate law as a lead paralegal with a boutique law firm in Maitland. When presented with the opportunity to move to Gator Country in 2004 she packed up the family and headed to Gainesville. This allowed her to transition into residential real estate with one of Gainesville's best real estate law firms. Being passionate about homes and family, it was easy to make the move from estate planning to residential real estate. Her career as a residential real estate closer gave her great satisfaction and she is very grateful for that experience. While in that position, Michelle gained a vast knowledge about the closing process and how many details there are that must come together for a successful closing. The process can be highly stressful even when everything is moving forward smoothly. It makes her feel good to ease that stress and help everyone prepare for closing. Selling or buying a home is a life event, and making that as memorable and stress free as possible is Michelle's mission.
In her "free time", Michelle adores spending time with her kids, playing with their dog, heading to the beach or the springs, and whenever possible grabbing a mountain bike ride or a dirt bike ride to keep things interesting and fun. The American Heart Association and the American Heart Heroes are organizations close to her heart. She is currently a prospective member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and hope to become a volunteer at Camp Boggy Creek this summer.
