During football season, die-hard Gator football fans appreciate the Gator Aider shuttle that transports people to the UF home games from Town of Tioga.
Seasonal events are popular as well. Past events hosted by Tioga Town Center have included jazz festivals, winter festivals, and arts festivals.
Publix Supermarket is less than a mile away in Steeplechase shopping center. Butler Town Center, Celebration Pointe, and the Oaks Mall are within an easy driving distance.
Just down Newberry Road from Town of Tioga is Dudley Farm Historic State Park, an authentic working Florida farm established before the Civil War. You can get a sense of what life was like visiting eighteen original buildings including the family farmhouse, general store, post office, and cane sugar complex. Their fall sugar cane festival is a popular community event.
If it's outdoor sports you are looking for, Jonesville Park and Sports Complex hosts numerous organized sports activities including soccer, disc golf, and tennis. The park also has a mile-long fitness trail, a playground, and picnic facilities.
